Job overview

We are delighted to offer an opportunity for Registered Nurses to join our friendly Gynaecology team.

We have full and part time positions available on the Ward 14/GATU at The Princess Royal Hospital.

This is an ideal opportunity to broaden your experience within this speciality and gain new skills and knowledge.

Ongoing professional development is very important to us and we can offer training to widen your experience.

Main duties of the job

The Women’s and Children’s service at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford consists of 12 beds caring for a wide variety of patients including women recovering from gynaecological surgery, early pregnancy complications, breast surgery and surgical procedures/conditions.

Alongside the ward there is also an EPAS, GATU and outpatient services.  EPAS assesses and manages patients with early pregnancy issues and GATU is an assessment area where ladies presenting with Gynaecological complaints can be assessed and treated.  These ladies may then be admitted to the ward.  The outpatient service enables some procedures to be carried out and women assessed.  Successful candidates will be required to work across all services.
