An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Nurse who wishes to play a lead role in the ongoing development of Scheduled Care. You must have current or recent experience in a Senior Nurse operational role at Band 7 or above.
As a matron, within Scheduled Care, you will provide leadership and direction and will be expected to have experience of managing operational services, finance and budgetary control and workforce issues. You will have overall day to day responsibility for the nursing teams within the Service whilst ensuring efficient and effective management of complex operational and professional issues to ensure high quality, safe clinical care and patient experience.
The post will involve cross site working at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.
The Care Group is a challenging operational area with many conflicting priorities and requires staff with focus, drive, enthusiasm and commitment. You will work with the Senior Management team to influence, motivate, support and drive through change and service improvement to meet the care group and corporate objectives.
