An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Registered General Nurses to join the Trust professional development nursing team, working with the Clinical Practice team you will support the education, training and skills acquisition of nursing staff, students and learners across the organisation.
A key part of the role will be to support the team in the delivery of the trainee nursing associate and Registered Nurse preceptorship programmes. You will help to facilitate and coordinate clinical placements, be a point of contact for staff, their mentor/supervisors and managers. You will provide direct guidance and clinical support to facilitate staff to achieve their clinical competencies and skills.
You will be a well-motivated individual who has proven current / recent experience of supporting students and learners in the clinical environment with a passion for education and training.
Excellent communication skills, the aptitude to work independently as well as a part of a team are essential as is the ability to be adaptable and flexible to meet competing demands and support the team in the delivery of a wide range of professional development strategies and work streams.
