An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered General Nurse to join the Trust's Clinical Practice Team, to support the education, training and skills acquisition of nursing staff, students and learners across the organisation.
A key part of the role will be to support newly qualified Registered General Nurses and Trainee Nursing Associates. You will work with the existing Practice Educators/Facilitators to strengthen and develop the Trust's preceptor-ship programme and support the delivery of the Nursing Associate Programme. A point of contact for staff, mentors, supervisors and managers you will provide guidance and direct clinical support to facilitate staff to achieve their clinical competencies and skills.
You will be a well motivated individual with a passion for education and training. You will hold the mentor-ship course with current experience of supporting students and learners in the clinical environment.
Excellent communication skills, the aptitude to work independently as well as a part of a team are essential as is the ability to be adaptable and flexible to meet competing demands and support the team in the delivery of a wide range of professional development strategies and work streams.
