Due to internal realignment of responsibilities within the Scheduled Care Group, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced operational manager to lead our Head & Neck Centre. Working collaboratively with senior medical and nursing colleagues in the service.
The post will provide a varied and challenging workload with services that are provided across our two acute Hospital sites, with some elements of service provided at other locations.
Services include Ophthalmology, ENT and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
The post holder will be expected to act with a high degree of delegated authority; will need to be resilient to manage often competing priorities and to work collaboratively with their three centre manager colleagues in Scheduled Care, the wider Care Group and Trust teams to contribute to the delivery of the Trust vision and values.
A full and detailed understanding of the delivery of NHS Access standards is essential, as is an understanding of service improvement methodology and financial management.
