An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Theatre Manager who wishes to play a lead role in the ongoing development of Theatre services within the Trust. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate continuing professional development relevant to the Theatre speciality with a minimum of two years current experience working in a band 6 post within a Theatre setting.
You must be a committed, enthusiastic and a highly organized individual who can respond appropriately to and deal with the many conflicting priorities of the acute theatre environment whilst actively co-ordinating and monitoring clinical activities to ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources. With a proven ability to lead, manage and direct a team efficiently and effectively, you will be required to provide continuity in dealing with and overseeing operational management issues on a daily basis.
The post holder must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills that will enable them to influence, motivate, support and assist in the integration of the Trust wide multidisciplinary teams. You will have demonstrated a desire for self development and an ability to provide teaching and education to staff at all levels.
