Are you an experienced senior administrator with excellent minuting and organisational skills - looking for the next step in your career development?
The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is looking for someone to join our Assurance Team and help us with the smooth running of the Trust Board and its Committee meetings.
You will report to the Compliance & Sustainability Manager who heads up the small but very friendly and supportive Assurance Team, working flexibly to cope with the demands of the Board and Executive team.
Ideally you will a qualified adminsitrator with a good understanding of corporate governance. Previous experience of the public sector and organisational change are important.
Highly developed interpersonal and facilitation skills and integrity are essential as you will work directly with the Director of Corporate Governance in her role as Company Secretary to deliver the Trust Board meetings. You will have contact with the Trust Chair, Chief Executive and other members of the Trust Board and senior management team and you will be required to collate Board and Committee papers and presentations prior to publication and take the lead for organising all aspects of Trust Board meetings. You will have an interesting workload and will need to juggle competing priorities – but you will have the discretion to work on your own initiative much of the time.
