We are looking for people who have previous Band 3 or above Therapy Support Worker experience within SaTH for either physiotherapy and/ or occupational therapy teams. Additional specific training can be provided by the established therapists to enable successful candidates to provide protocol based therapies and work autonomously delivering assessment and rehabilitation to our medical or surgical patients.

The post holders will assist with supporting patients and families to manage their physical, social and psychological needs and carry their own caseload including advice and support in terms of discharge planning.  The post involves working alongside qualified therapists as well as with other members of the support worker team to provide therapy input to patients across the acute wards.
