We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated person to join our imaging Clerical team here at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The successful applicant must be literate, numerate and have a good understanding of computers. Their main duties include liaising with the imaging team and patients, playing an integral part in the administrative tasks for the imaging department which includes greeting patients and booking them onto our Radiology information system, receiving and making telephone calls and booking of patient appointments. The clerical team is vital to the efficient running of the imaging department which strives to deliver a high standard of patient centred care.

The hours for this position are 37.5 hours per week. The clerical service for radiology is delivered between 8.00am and 8.00pm. For the initial training period the working hours will be 9.00am - 5.00pm however the successful applicant will be expected to move into the working hours of 8.00am - 8.00pm. Saturday working is also expected on rotation approximately one in every eight.
