The Medical Engineering Department based at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital require a full time Office Support Manager. You will work closely in support of the Office Manager and with all technical staff in the department to provide day to day administrative support in this busy engineering department.
Main duties of the job
As an experienced administrator and working primarily with colleagues in the Medical Engineering Admin team, you will contribute to the efficient day to day operation of a busy engineering service. This will involve ordering stock items, receipting goods and new equipment, liaison with Engineering staff within Medical Engineering and staff from other areas of the hospital.
The Office Support role within Medical Engineering primarily involves the provision of departmental administration services, liaison with colleagues within Medical Engineering and external to Medical Engineering, working and contributing to a team effort in maximising departmental efficiency.
