The post holder is responsible for supporting the Patient Access Manager in the delivery of efficient and effective Theatres, Anaesthetics and Critical Care Service for the Trust, ensuring that all operational targets and priorities can be met.

We are looking for a truly professional individual and credible team player to fulfill the post of Theatre, Anaesthetics and Critical Care Manager. We want a Manager that is dynamic and has vision and is committed to ensuring our patients receive fantastic, safe care. We need you to have outstanding leadership qualities, confidence in making decisions, a can do attitude, the ability to inspire and excellent communication skills with a focus on delivery.

We want a person to work in partnership with Clinical Centre colleagues to provide an effective and efficient service and to work in partnership with Procurement colleagues to provide an effective and efficient Service. We want an individual who will work with Theatre Managers to ensure that robust processes are in place and to work with the Theatre Matron and Theatre Managers to ensure that theatre processes are robust.

 This person will support Clinical Colleagues with the creation of job plans, recruitment and sickness management and be responsible for the effective management of Theatre and Critical Care resources including Nursing, Theatre staff, Clinical staff and Admin and Clerical Staff. The post holder will work closely with the Patient Access Manager and colleagues in other centres as required to deliver the Trust’s overall strategic objectives, ensuring that the patient experience is a key priority.
