An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 6 month secondment within the Unscheduled Care Group to provide a valuable service to our Neurology Department as a Multiple Sclerosis Administration Coordinator to assist in the delivery of a well established and efficient service.
The successful candidate will have significant experience within an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within the NHS. We are looking for a confident communicator who can liaise with both service users and health professionals at all levels. Essential requirements of the role are good organisational skills, the ability to prioritise a varied workload and provide wide ranging administrative support including audio typing and have a good understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel and spread-sheets.
You would be required to work closely with the administrative and clinical team, supporting the work of the department in the provision of an efficient and effective office service. Candidates should possess a professional attitude to their work, be able to demonstrate good communication skills and have the ability to work flexibly in a busy environment. You will be required to work as part of a team, as well as being able to use your initiative and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
