We are looking for enthusiastic HR Advisors to join our talented team in the delivery of a professional comprehensive and responsive HR advisory service.
These posts are fixed term for 12 months and we are happy to consider full-time and part-time working. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
As a HR Advisor you will work closely with the HR Team to provide a customer-focused and professional HR service. You will provide responsive and proactive advice to managers and staff. You will support and advise on a wide range of issues including interpretation of a range of policies including sickness absence management, disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work, change management and terms and conditions of employment.
This is an exciting role with a broad scope of responsibility so we are looking for an individual who will work well as part of the team to achieve results and also use your own initiative.
Ideally, you will be fully CIPD qualified or working towards your qualification. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate the ability to influence and negotiate, as well as being a good team player. It would be an advantage to have previous experience within the NHS and an understanding of NHS terms and conditions although this is not essential. You will require knowledge of employment law and be able to work in a busy, fast paced environment.
The HR Team are currently working from home which we envisage will be longer term. However, you will need to have the ability to travel independently to attend meetings on site as required for which public transport is not easily available.
In return, we will offer a range of opportunities for development; we strongly encourage participation in CPD events and you will be offered the opportunity to be coached by an internal or external coach. The Trust also has a variety of employee benefits schemes available.
