Two exciting opportunities have arisen for Band 3 Support Coordinators working full/part time in the Head & Neck and Ophthalmology Centre at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital.
The successful applicant will be able to provide support to the Head & Neck and Ophthalmology coordinators and team. The post holder’s duties will include prioritisation and delegation of workload as directed by the Centre co-ordinators, to provide 18 week clock validation support to the co-ordinators and to prepare, type and distribute the information of reports as required to support the work of the centre co-ordinators.
The role includes collating information and population of SQL/PTL reports used to monitor performance and manage demand and capacity for specialities within the centre.
The position requires you to produce accurate work under pressure and be willing to undertake any training requirements that is felt necessary to the role. GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English Language along with a good supporting education are all essential. Working knowledge of using Microsoft Office applications, an understanding of data protection and maintaining strict confidentiality in the healthcare setting are all essential together with, excellent organisational and communication skills, flexibility, good time management and the ability to work as part of a team.
Experience of working in a healthcare setting would be desirable.
