We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to join a busy, friendly team in the Hospital's Trust Headquarters. The successful individual will be responsible for supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO; the ideal candidate will need to be able to demonstrate that they can work in a demanding environment with changing priorities, be well-motivated, reliable and have experience of providing effective EA support.
The work of the Executive Directors is fast-paced, challenging and often unpredictable, therefore the post holder will need to be able to work on their own initiative with tact, discretion and flexibility. The post holder will undertake a range of administrative and secretarial tasks to ensure the effective organisation of the Executive Director’s time. This will include prioritisation of competing demands and ensuring that the Executive Director are appropriately prepared and briefed. You will be motivated with a desire to learn and develop both professionally and personally.
The role is both external and internal facing, involving face to face and telephone communication with patients, staff and stakeholders, some of which will involve dealing with complex matters. As part of the Executive Office team, the post holder will provide cross-cover arrangements within the team and a high quality front-of-house service during core hours.
