An exciting opportunity exists for highly motivated individual to join our Cleanliness Services Team and be part of a front line team enhancing patient experience by delivering high standards of cleanliness.
The position is a part time permanent post (subject to a 6 month probationary period). Core hours of work will be from 3pm - 9pm. The Position includes alternate Weekend Working.
The post holder is required to supervise all domestic duties in the hospital, ensuring that correct procedures and frequencies are maintained in order to comply with standards specified in the Domestic contract. This will require constant contact with all staff, Heads of departments, Medical staff, visitors and patients.
Supervisory experience is essential. The post holder’s duties include induction and refresher training of staff, monitoring of staff performance and sickness absences, therefore knowledge of Health & Safety and Manual Handling legislation is desirable. The applicant must have excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and is able to undertake administrative tasks, e.g. rotas, recording staff records etc and includes the use of some Microsoft programmes. Relevant training will be given.
