We have an exciting new opportunity to join our team!

You will be part of the Breast Imaging team providing a wide range of administrative duties across the department.  You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working within an established team.

The role will entail interacting with patients, the public and staff at all levels across the Trust.  Therefore, you will require good communication and customer care skills, have a friendly, pleasant and helpful approach, whilst understanding the need for confidentiality in a health care environment.

The successful candidate will have achieved a good standard of GCSE education grades 9 - 4 (or equivalent) which includes Mathematics and English.  We are looking for individuals with ambition who are able to work and achieve goals and/ or objectives set by their line manager.

Our Trust values ‘Proud to Care’ and ‘We Value Respect’ would need to be demonstrated through the individual’s approach to working in this environment, with a clean, neat and tidy appearance, together with the appropriate attitudes and behaviour to work in a health care setting.

You must be flexible to meet the demands of the service, have a can-do attitude and be a good team worker.  It will be essential that candidates are able to demonstrate a capacity to show empathy, have a sensitive approach to difficult situations and understand the need for safe working practice in a hospital environment.

As the breast screening service is spread across Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Hospitals, it is essential that the candidate holds a full driving licence and has the use of a vehicle.
