An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and motivated individual(s) to join SaTH and support the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care System in the delivery of the Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) Academy and the preceptorship workstream in an administrative capacity. Working mainly remotely, with one day per week spent at Telford College, the successful individual (s), will ensure the smooth running of two high profile workstreams and will be crucial to the recruitment and retention work going on across the county, helping to shape the workforce f the future. This role demands individuals with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering a high quality administrative function, who can effectively work in a team, or on their own initiative.    

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide an efficient and comprehensive secretarial support service for the Shropshire Telford and Wrekin integrated Care System (STW ICS) People Team and Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) Academy / preceptorship workstream prioritising work to ensure deadlines are met.
Act as first point of contact for the HCSW Academy and preceptorship workstream when dealing with staff of all levels within the ICS. 
Use Microsoft Office applications to populate teaching timetables, organise meetings, arrange speakers and manage the venue for HCSW Academy as well as producing resources to support the Project Leads for the HCSW Academy and preceptorship workstreams.
Respond to telephone calls regarding HCSW Academy and preceptorship workstreams, resolving problems when possible, in a professional and competent manner.
Arrange and service meetings as required.
Assist in the organisation of the STW ICS People Teams’ workload.
Ensure the smooth running of the office/team including the assessment of priorities and the initiation of preparatory action.
