An exciting opportunity has arisen on Ward 11 to be part of the Healthcare Assistant Team. We are a closely knit and dedicated team of Nursing and Medical Staff.

We are seeking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant who is interested in joining our Medical Ward ward at The Princess Royal Hospital and who is dedicated to providing a high quality of service to our patient group .

We have a full time vacancy available. However part time will be considered. Post holders will need to be prepared to work an internal rotation shift system involving days, nights and weekends, 12.5 hour shifts only.

Ward 11 is an extremely busy unit, taking the majority of our patients from the Medical Assessment Unit and occasionally, direct from A&E. We enjoy the benefits of our own dedicated ward Consultant and medical team, and work closely with other areas to provide the best care possible and timely discharges.

We are dedicated to providing the safest kindest care to our patients, within a happy, friendly, yet professional environment, where people really matter.

Together We Achieve is the motto for Ward 11

Experience as a Health Care Assistant is preferable but not essential as on the ward training would be given.

Please note, if you do not have the qualifications required for this post you will be required to sit a Numeracy and Literacy test.
