We are currently looking to recruit dynamic, enthusiastic, motivated, forward thinking Theatre Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners to join our theatre and recovery teams. You must be a Registered Nurse or ODP.  Applications are welcome from individuals who are approaching the end of their training.

The Princess Royal Hospital has ten operating theatres, two of which are obstetrics that we cover 24/7 with ODPs and now in addition we are requiring scrub practitioners.  We also cover a range of specialities, Trauma & Orthopaedics, ENT, MaxFax, Gynae, Paediatrics and Breast surgery.

The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital comprises of 9 Operating Theatres covering a range of Major and Day case surgery including Colo-Rectal, Urology, Upper GI and Bariatric, Vascular, ENT, Max Fax, Orthopaedic Trauma and an Emergency CEPOD Theatre 24/7.

You will be required to cover a range of shifts which may include Weekends, Early/Late Shifts, Long Days, Bank Holidays, On-Calls and Night Duties (Obstetric, Anaesthetic Practitioners only) You will also have an opportunity to be based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital or The Princess Royal Hospital and this will enable you to rotate between sites to gain further experience.
