We have an opportunity for an experienced dietitian to join our enthusiastic and innovative inpatient team working across the Princess Royal and Royal Shrewsbury Hospitals. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical, supervision and leadership skills supporting the safe discharge of patients with PEG feeding tubes across both hospitals while also providing input into the gastroenterology ward and outpatient clinic. Working with your dietetic colleagues, stroke team and service users you will ensure that high quality discharge planning is carried out and provide the initial follow up to the service users when they are discharged out of hospital. You will be part of the wider dietetic department of 18 dietitians and 7 assistant practitioners covering a countywide service to 2 general district hospitals, community hospitals and community clinics, outpatient clinics and acute services.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, has good time management skills, and works well independently as well as within a team. We have strong links with our MDT colleagues and joint working is often key in much of our practice.
